
Wayne Sawchuk, the intellectual, contemplates a large piece of jade formed by the movement of a glacier, which he discovered in the Muskwa-Kechika Management Area. Wayne Sawchuk, the adventurer, looks over a variety of tack used when he travels to the area with upwards of 14 packhorses. Sawchuk has spent the last 25-years taking expeditions through the 6.4 million hector Muskwa-Kechika (equivalent to seven Yellowstone National Parks) and was recently accepted into the prestigious, Explorers Club.
